In 2021 Corrin Rankin was elected to serve as the California Republican Party’s Central Valley Regional Vice Chair representing eleven California counties including, Sacramento, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, Merced, Mariposa, Madera, Tuolumne, Fresno, Kings, Tulare and Kern. Rankin also Chair’s the California Republican Party’s newly formed Engagement Committee where she manages seven active engagement sub- committee’s whose goal is to expand the California Republican Party and engage with diverse communities.
In 2020, Rankin worked as a conservative activist, thought leader, national media surrogate, and President of the Legacy Republican Alliance. Rankin’s political experience includes consulting on successful campaigns for local office, serving as California’s statewide director for African Americans for Trump, and acting as an ethnic media surrogate for both the 2016 and 2020 Trump campaigns.
Additionally, Rankin served as an Advisory Board Member to the Black Voices for Trump Coalition, where she also participated in the acclaimed Women for Trump bus tour that campaigned throughout the state of Nevada. During a Trump campaign rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma, Rankin was recognized as one of the campaign’s top surrogates for national media. As a result of the collective efforts of the Trump campaign’s targeted Midwest outreach, Republican minority voter registration increased by 20 percent. Rankin’s professional experience includes serving as a marketing consultant to corporate entities and serving as chairwoman of the California Bail Agents Association for two years.
In 2016, Rankin was chosen to serve as a delegate and deputy whip to the Republican National Committee in Cleveland. Using these experiences, Rankin formed the Legacy Republican Alliance to help foster Black conservative leadership and provide the Black community with a means to meaningfully impact government and the political landscape. Rankin resides in Stockton with her family and in her spare time enjoys, boating, reading, writing, and volunteering on local grassroots campaigns.
